Chasing Checkereds With Cannon
3:43 PM
Hey Friends,
As many of you know, I have taken this year off from my role as an AP to be a SAHM to my little guy. I decided that since I am no longer in that position I would revamp this blog. Blogging is very therapeutic for me and it is a great way to document so many wonderful memories while meeting people from all over the world.
To quickly update everyone, Cannon is now almost six months old. He is the sweetest baby and truly is the light of our world (I know that sounds trite). He is the happiest baby and when he smiles his whole face smiles. We tried for many years to have a baby and so Cannon is really a miracle to us. Two years ago my husband and I suffered a miscarriage and after lots of fertility treatments we conceived Cannon with no medical interventions at all. God is truly amazing.
Since we were blessed with this miracle I decided to take a year off of work to really enjoy every second as Cannon's mommy. We decided to buy a motorhome and travel with Dad to all of the races. This has been a dream come true for us.
The goal of this blog is to document our memories and to record some of the play school things that we do together on the road. Although tot school generally begins when a child is one or older, I have slowly began introducing Cannon to academics through learning. As he grows older the blog will transition into more of a formal tot school blog.
