4th Grade Year At A Glance
12:35 PM
When I taught second grade, I created A Year At A Glance document that I referred to a lot that year. Since last year was the first year I taught 4th grade, I was unable to make one. However, now that this will be my second year in 4th grade I really wanted to make one. A few weeks ago I met with some of the other AIG teachers from the county and we made a Year At A Glance for next year. It was so great to work with such talented teachers. Sometimes we are so secluded within our own classroom that it is hard to get out there and plan with other teachers in your school never-mind other teachers in your district.
I am so grateful for the time we had together. I feel like I have got some great things planned for next year and I am really looking forward to seeing my students eat up these lessons. The best part of the Year At A Glance that we made is that it is broken down by weeks and the units we will be teaching that week. Each unit is linked to the documents and already includes SMART Board lessons, rubrics and lesson plans. Isn't this wonderful!
I also have some other really exciting things coming up I can't wait to share with everyone so stay tuned!
