We are finally finishing up Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH this week  My students have really enjoyed reading this book. We started off the book with a persuasive paper on animal testing which led to a class debate. The students did a great job coming up with rebuttals for opposing points of view. This week  students used a cereal box to create my idea of a book report for the story. I asked students to include all the story elements. Today each student presented their boxes. I loved seeing how creative they were. I am going to see if we can display these boxes in the library.
