The Cutest Giveaway Ever!
11:43 AM
Listen up teachers... I have the cutest giveaway to offer my followers. I am very excited to offer one follower an apron from FoodPhyte
To be entered in this giveaway:
- You have to be a follower of my two blogs, mrsmccumbeesclass.blogspot.com and meanmygang.blogspot.com and leave me one comment telling me that you follow both blogs.
- You also have to visit FoodPhyte's Etsy shop and choose your favorite apron, then return to this blog and leave a seperate comment telling me what you would carry in your apron! This could get interesting, be creative as possible.
Also, once you receive your apron, the winner must include a picture of the apron in action (either in an email or post)! We want to see that beautiful creation at work!
So what will you win? The owner of FoodPhyte is giving you a choice between two of her NEW creations. Once the winner is selected you will choose which one you love! How simple is that. This giveaway will end August 31,20011

I visited the website and saw so many cute ones-love the black and white ones with a splash of color. If I won, I would carry markers, notepad, stickers-what I would need while working with my kids and circulating the classroom. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

ReplyDeleteIt's funny that I found this today. Our school just had a workshop on 6 + 1 traits yesterday. The presenter suggested keeping necessary items (comment cards, timer, markers, erasers, highlighters, etc.) in something with pockets to carry with you while you conference during writing time. It not only allows you to carry stuff around, but it is a sign for the other students so they do not disturb you while you have it on!
ReplyDeleteAfter visiting the site, I think my favorite is the Flower and Ladybug half apron.

ReplyDeleteDecisions, decisions... I love both aprons but I would pick the ladybug apron. We study insects in second grade so that would be perfect! If I won, I would carry post-its, ROAR stickers (our PBIS plan, markers and highlighters. I would also use it a place for those clips that have 'off the chart' for great behavior. This is an awesome giveaway!

ReplyDeleteAfter looking at the Etsy aprons, my favorite is still the flowered one that caught my eye on your blog:) I would use it for all of the things that walk away or I sweat trying to run across the room for during projects...pens, a rag, paintbrushes, garbage...it would make my life much easier!:)

I love the modern guitars apron. It matches the colors of my classroom, plus I'm a music lover! I would definitely wear this around the classroom. Not too creative, but I would keep things in it that I need when I circulate and work with students (correcting pen, pencil, highlighter, clips, scissor, post-its...)

I follow both blogs! Love them both, too!
ReplyDeleteJust visited FoodPhyte's Etsy shop. WOW! Every design is adorable! I would totally go for the bright green apple and brown polka dot apron. Those colors are fantastic! I would carry everything I need for conferring with my readers: post-its, highlighters, scissors, bookmarks, pens, pencils, etc. The apron would also be a great signal to other students that I'm conferring and shouldn't be interrupted. It would also be a great spot to keep those "treasures" that get confiscated throughout the day like sillybandz, hair clips that are being messed with, cars that didn't stay in the backpack, etc.!
ReplyDeleteI follow both of your amazing blogs :)
ReplyDeleteWell I would love one of each apron...but if I must choose...the apples. I would carry all of the excitement from my students each day! I would use the handy dandy tool to be ready for learning fun with post-it's, colorful pens, PBiS rewards, carmex and a book so I can read to them everywhere we go...thanks

There are SO many that I love that I can't actually narrow it down to just one. My two favorites are the Classic French Cafe Girl apron and the Black Damask on Cream with Hot Fuschia Pink Modern Dots!! They are all gorgeous though and I'd be happy with any of them.
ReplyDeleteI'd use mine to store Sharpies, a mini-hand sanitizer, post-its, scissors, stickers, small wrapped treats for good behavior incentives, etc. I'm sure it'd be easy to come up with all kinds of fun things to carry around. :)
